SOUTHWOLD ARTS FESTIVAL ~ How to find the extraordinary in the ordinary – Malcolm Doney & Cole Moreton

In his last days, Clive James saw beauty in even the smallest of things – he thought “everything was extraordinary”. William Blake saw a “world in a grain of sand”. Using wisdom from cotemporary and ancient sources, they explore how we can pay attention to what’s going on right in front of us.

Malcolm Doney is a writer, artist and broadcaster who lives in Blythburgh, co-author of Hold On, Let Go: how to find your life. Matt Haig said his previous book was “full of clear, simple and useful wisdom on how to live”.

Cole Moreton is an award-winning writer and broadcaster whose new book Everything is Extraordinary: True stories about how we live, love and pay attention uses a series of encounters with remarkable people to explore our human longing to connect. Anita Anand describes him as "a brilliant, sensitive storyteller".
